How to check if a sale is registered on ClickBank

Did you know that ClickBank tracks the performance of its affiliates and their product listings? It can be a little disconcerting to discover that your favorite affiliate network also keeps track of how much commission each of its affiliates makes.

These details are available if you have a ClickBank account, and you’re signed in with the same user account you used to sign up as an affiliate. If not, follow this link to create an account.
Once you have logged into the site, click on ‘My Account’ and then ‘Account Details’ at the top of the page.

Here, you will see your personal profile details and links to your various accounts. The one we’re interested in is labeled as either ‘Affiliate Account’ or something similar. Once clicked on, it will take you to a screen where you can see all your registered products, along with their stats for sales made by customers.

Find the product you want to check on ClickBank

There are a couple of ways to go about this. You can either:

You can also use the search function at the top right of the page to look for a product that interests you.

Check for affiliate commission paid

Click on the product that you want to investigate the sales for. In the resulting product page, you will see a green ‘affiliate’ link at the top. Clicking on it will take you to a page showing the sales, reviews, and more importantly, the commission paid on all sales made by ClickBank customers. The commission is displayed in the ‘commission’ section of this page.

If you don’t see a commission listed for the product, then it could be for one of two reasons. Firstly, it could be that the product hasn’t yet generated any sales. You can check this by looking at the related ‘net sales’ and ‘total sales’ stats.

Check for net sales made by customers

These are sales made by customers, net of any refunds that have been issued. You can see how many of these there have been by clicking on the ‘net sales’ link in the product’s stats section.

If there are any refunds listed here, it’s worth investigating why they were issued. Customers may return a product for a variety of reasons, including the product not living up to expectations, or an incorrect choice made by the customer, etc. If you can see why customers are issuing refunds, you may be able to take steps to prevent this, or at least minimize it.

You can also see how many products have sold on the product listing page itself. You’ll notice a ‘sold’ button at the top right of the page. Click on it and you will see the stats listed, including the number of sales, net sales, and total sales made by customers.

Check for total sales made by customers

These are the total sales made by customers, net of any refunds. You can see how many of these there have been by clicking on the ‘total sales’ link in the product’s stats section.

The ClickBank stats function is a very useful tool that you can use to track the performance of your product listings and make adjustments as needed. It can be used both by affiliates and product creators, giving you a detailed breakdown of how well your products are doing, as well as the sales channels they’re being sold through.

With this information, you can optimize your product listings to maximize sales, or investigate why a product isn’t selling as well as you’d like, and take steps to make it more attractive to customers.
