How to Make $100 an Hour: A Comprehensive Guide

Making $100 an hour is easier than you think. Whether you're looking for a side hustle or just want some extra cash, there are plenty of ways to make money on your schedule. In this guide, we'll cover everything from starting your own consulting business to renting out your car (or your home). We'll also take a look at how much each of these side gigs can bring in per hour.
Start Your Own Consulting Business
- Consulting is a great way to earn money, and it's an especially good choice for those who want to make some extra cash while they're still in school or working another job. You can consult part-time or full-time, and you don't need any special skills or education.
- A consulting business will give you the flexibility to work as little (or as much) as you want—although it's recommended that you set aside at least five hours a week for your clients. If this sounds like something that would work with your schedule and personality, here are seven steps on how to start:
Create a Blog
- Importance of a blog
Creating a blog for your business is one of the best ways to market your services and grow an audience. It gives you an opportunity to share your expertise with others in your field, and establish yourself as an expert in their eyes. You can also use it to build trust with potential clients by showing them how much work you’ve already done. Plus, having a blog helps you stay on top of industry trends, something that's important if you want to remain competitive in your niche.
- How To Start A Blog
There are many free or inexpensive WordPress plugins available that make it easy for new users to create and maintain blogs themselves, including BuddyPress (for social networking), WooCommerce (for e-commerce), bbPress (for forums), Jetpack by WordPress (for stats), etc., so there’s no reason not get started today! Become a Virtual Assistant
- What is a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant is basically an administrative assistant who works remotely. They do things like scheduling, emails, phone calls, research and more. They usually work for one or two clients at a time and help them out with their day-to-day tasks.
- How to become a virtual assistant:
There are two main ways of becoming a virtual assistant: either starting on your own or finding an agency that hires part-time VAs. If you want to go on your own, I recommend using Upwork or Fiverr as they're great places to start building up client relations without any overhead costs (they'll only charge you when someone hires you). Just make sure that you have stellar reviews before pitching yourself as someone who can help with various tasks!
Sell Your Expertise on Clarity.fm
- What is Clarity.fm?
Clarity.fm is a platform that allows you to offer your expertise on demand to people who are looking for advice on all sorts of topics, from business, to relationships, and more. You can create audio recordings of your responses to questions from users and then earn money based on how many times these recordings are listened to by other members of the community (and whether or not those members choose to pay per minute for the content).
- How much can I make?
You can make as much as $100 an hour if you really get into it! However, some people have found that they prefer working in shorter blocks of time rather than spending hours writing up their answers over multiple days or weeks at a time. In either case though—if you want more money or if you prefer shorter bursts of work—the sky's the limit! And because there are so many different skill sets out there (like mine) finding someone who matches yours exactly isn't likely but still totally possible thanks to Clarity's search function which allows users
Tutor Students
You can tutor students in subjects you are good at and/or interested in, or even passionate about. Many tutors choose to focus on specific subject areas such as biology, history, math, or English. There are also sites like Tutor Match that will match you with students who need help with the same subject as you.
Rent Out Your Car (Or Your Home)
Renting out your car could be one of the easiest ways to make money. All you have to do is register with Getaround and enter the information about your vehicle — including photos and videos — into their system. Then, when someone wants to rent it, they can request it through Getaround and pay for it using a credit card or PayPal account.
Renting out your home is also another option if you're looking for some passive income streams that require little effort on your part. You can list it on Airbnb and start getting paid by people who want to stay in an authentic neighborhood instead of somewhere impersonal like a hotel chain or even their own homes. If you're concerned about safety issues, Airbnb does offer insurance coverage that covers up to $1 million in property damage during each trip for hosts, guests, and third parties involved in accidents at home rentals offered through its website.
Do Freelance Graphic Design
- Design is a great skill to have. There are a ton of freelance graphics design jobs available online, and you can do them from home.
- Sites like Upwork allow you to find work and get paid for it. You can also use your own website or Fiverr if you're looking for more flexibility in your schedule.
Create an Online Course
An online course is a program that teaches students how to do something, usually over a series of lessons. You’ll need to create an outline for your course, which includes topics and the order in which they should be taught.
You might wonder why someone would pay $100 per hour when they could just learn on their own. Creating an online course allows you to help people who are struggling with what you know and make more money than if you were just teaching them one-on-one or via Skype each week.

Making $100 an hour is easier than you think
Making $100 an hour is easier than you think.
I'm not talking about working your way up to a six-figure salary or becoming the CEO of a Fortune 500 company—I'm talking about earning $100 per hour right now, without the help of a college degree, experience in your field, special skills or education. And while there are many ways to make money on the side (e.g., freelancing), this guide focuses on just one: being paid to watch television shows and movies online.
The reason why I started making money this way is simple: I needed it immediately and didn't want to wait for my income from other sources (including freelance writing) to come in—which could take weeks or months depending on how busy I was at any given time!
Remember, making $100 an hour isn’t impossible. It just takes some time and a lot of work. If you have the drive, you can do it!
